I came to this country after high school when I joined my family and began college. My early career included work in low income housing programs providing HIV Research and Prevention Services along with Sex Education for University of California San Francisco; in addition to running a neighborhood Outreach Clinic.
10 years ago I found Somatics and it has been my passion since then. I realized that most other methodologies were very useful in helping me and or other people realize what behaviors we have that are not aligned with our values or support our best selves but didn't have the tools to change them. Somatics gave just that, being able to change my actions and helping others to do the same.
Since then I've taken extensive training in trauma healing, leadership and somatic practices to further my larger mission of supporting change and transformation in a social context.
