Why Somatic Practice?

Because our lives are busy and complex, our daily responses tend to be automated. We, as humans, love routines!  Somatics is a path by which we notice our habits without judgement. Somatic Practice supports leaders to make foundational shifts in our perceiving, thinking and relating. New practices help leaders sustain transformation. Somatic Practice promises to bring out the natural charismatic leader in you. BIPOC leaders are particularly vulnerable to self-doubt, people-pleasing, imposter syndrome, shame-spirals brought on by living within a system of white supremacy and patriarchy. My clients come to me to work through these struggles. While traditional models of coaching and psychotherapy can help leaders understand patterned behaviors, they fail to support BIPOC leaders in identifying and developing pragmatic, embodied practices for sustainable change.
